Ben, we are super awkward getting our photo taken, is that a problem?
Not at all. This is the same for 90% of humans.
The main part of my job is to make people relaxed and comfortable around me, which I think I'm pretty good at.
I'm generally just floating around, staying out the way and capturing the day as it flows. When it comes to portraits, I'll give a little bit of direction as needed, but my main aim is for you guys to be yourselves and to enjoy that part of the day, and for it to not feel like a photoshoot.
How do we book you?

In order to confirm your date, a $1000 retainer is to be paid and a contract signed. The remainder is due 2 weeks before the wedding date.
Do we need to meet?
Where possible and practical, I love to meetup in person at some point before the wedding.
I know that's not always an option, so I'm always keen to jump on a call or zoom meeting at any time if you'd like to run through anything or just have a chat.
How long do we have to wait to get our images?
I always aim to have a handful of images across to you within 48hrs of the wedding day. Then I will have all the edited images ready for you approximately 4 weeks after your wedding date. The images are delivered via my online gallery, where you can download the high res files.
How many images will we get from our wedding?
This obviously depends on how many hours I'm there for. But generally I find that I average around 100 photos an hour. So for the usual 8 hour coverage, that is usually anywhere between 800 - 1000 images.
Do you shoot film?
Sure do. I offer this is an add on service for $200 a roll. 36 images, scanned and delivered with the wedding gallery.
Do you work with a 2nd Shooter?
95% of the time I shoot on my own. I really prefer to do it that way. The times I’ve used a second shooter is when the clients have requested one for a large wedding, to help capture all the guests, etc. I do offer a second shooter as a package option.
Do you travel far for weddings?
Yes I do, I travel a lot for my work. I’m based in Newcastle, but most of my weddings are out of the area, interstate & sometimes overseas. I require airfare, accommodation and usually a rental car. Please inquire for a specific quote for your destination.
How much do you charge?
Wedding coverage starts from $3800, elopements from $2500. Please fill out the form on the contact page and I will email you through all the detailed package information.
Do you offer video?
I don't do video at this stage. But i have a heap of talented friends that do, so just reach out over email and I'll send you my list.
What's your shoe size?
I'm generally a US mens 12 for everyday wear, but I always go up to a size 13 for running shoes.
